To unlock the tV, you must have its remote control. For proceedigs to unlock it, refer its user manual [parential code setting], section.

Do one thing remove the power socket wait for 3 minutes and then reconnect the power code. then switch the tv the timer will reset.

some tv's have a button on the back that will turn on or off the built in speaker system so that the tv can be plugged into an external system and allow the user to use the tv's volume control for the ext. speakers without hearing the internal ones, if there is no such button check the tv's setup menu for a setting that enables or disables the speakers

This model doesn't have a headphone jack. The only JVC TV in the series that does is the model AV-20D202. For the JVC AV-2732, use the RCA audio out jacks with an RCA to 3.5 mm adapter to connect to the headphones. The front audio jacks are audio in (for the audio from a video camera for example).

When you use any external speakers or headphones through the audio out jacks, make sure to turn off the TV speakers. Press Menu and navigate down to TV Speakers (up/down arrows). Then use the right/left arrows to select Off and then Exit the menu. Make sure you scroll the TV volume before doing this. Note: if your headphones do not have a volume control they are a bad choice for this type of audio output.

The same thing happend to my TV, i took it apart, (make sure it is unplugged) then i found where the button is, and then i glued it back on glue it on then try it

I think you would have to turn off the sleep timer mode completely or increase its ON time span, say to 4 hours or so
or the lenth of time you have the TV on for. If that does not fix it then it sounds like a STANDBY MODE fault problem.

you may just need to get rid of it and get a new lcd tv with the new tuner.

sounds like a clasic tube failing sooner or later it will be so dark u wont be able to adjust it or it will just loose the pic all together sorry for the bad news:)

You need to adjust the vertical height in the Service menu.Press the SLEEP TIMER key and set the SLEEP TIMER for ｢0 MIN｣. Then press the DISPLAY key and VIDEO STATUS key of the remote control unit at the same time to enter the Service menu.In SERVICE MENU, press the FUNCTION ▼/▲ key to select any of the SUB MENU items. (The letters of the selected items are displayed in yellow.)You want #2 DEF - go to sub-menu and look for the height adj. FUNCTION / key Setting (adjust) the SETTING VALUE of the SETTING ITEM. When the key is released the SETTING VALUE will be stored (memorized). EXIT key Returns to the previous screen.
