Get yourself a cleaning disk from Walmart or an audio or computer retailer. Sometimes the optics get dusty and can't read the start of the disk. They are not expensive and worth a shot.

The DVD could be for a different region or the player may simply be unable to read it.

If you have a Sansui DVD player/VCR combination, you won't be able to record a DVD.

Hello gjbrokke,

First make sure the disc is compatible with the dvd player (CD-R+ , or CD-R - )

Second make sure the region code of the dvd you burned is compatible with the dvd region settings on your dvd player.

One of those two are preventing the disc from playing in your sansui player.

C206 caanot create TOC " table of contents" C104 coul;d not finalize session.

These are all signs of the laser at it prime or the laser veryy dirty. you may want to try cleaning it first, if that does not work then repair or replacment of the unit as a whole. this brad in genral only last 1 year until the go out or reqire service.

Well you can maybe try and set it up on your setting screen it might take a while but it's worth a try
