If you feed single phase into the line terminals, you will get only 1/3 the heat wattage. To get all heating elements working on single ph, you'll have to separate the common ends of the elements, then connect all 3 in parallel. Keep in mind, doing so will raise your line amperage x3 also. That may put you over the contactor's max rating. Another thing, the contactor will activate on only one sequence of single phase. You may need to move the line to another 2 of the 3 connections.
