To me - it sounds like a battery fault. You should try a Factory data reset first. Backup all your files and pictures. make sure you have over %50 battery before doing a factory reset. Send the manufacturer name and model number to 58355 (For E.g. Sony ericsson Xperia x10 to 58355) and BSNL will send you the settings which you will need to save on your phone. After that you will be able to use internet on your phone.

My micromax A89 is showing me as too many patterns attempts and asking for username and password

Try formatting your SD card by plugging in Laptop's or using a memory card reader. Don't use the cell, after formatting insert in cell and re-format. it will work.
