Instead choose "install Zip from SD card." Browse sd card for the .zip you want to install.

It is happening due to weak signal..in your locality,try the sim and see whats happen.if it is same then you have to change the PF of your phone..!!

if u have created your gmail/yahoo account then might be you can recover it through the that account.

Connect your X10 to your computer. Pull down the usb notification in top left of screen and mount sd card.
Then go into your phone menu via "My Computer" and either go into media/audio/notifications or create the folders yourself. Remember they must be lower case letters.
Then all you have to do is copy your tone into the "notifications" folder disconnect your phone from your pc and go into "Settings" "Sound and Display" "Notification ringtone" and it should now be in your list with the preset standard tones.
