How to transfer contacts from

This can be done in a few ways: synchronizing with Outlook/Lotus Notes, via SIM card or sending the contacts manually as vCard files. I've recently bought a Sony Ericsson Elm and wanted to transfer contacts from my old Nokia 6233. Take a look at my solution here:

How do i delete an

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 supports multiple accounts for Gmail, Exchange Activesync, Facebook and other services. Here, we show you how to add and remove accounts on your Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.

Adding an account:

  1. Open Settings, the tap on the Accounts & sync selection
  2. Tap on Add account
  3. Select the type of account to add (Microsoft Exchange, Facebook and Google are available by default)
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your account (depending on account type, you will be asked to select what kind of data to sync to your device)
  5. When complete, the account is added to the list in the Accounts & syncsection and data will begin synchronizing to your device

Removing an account:

  1. Open Settings, the tap on the Accounts & sync selection
  2. Tap the name of the account you wish to remove/delete
  3. Tap Remove account
  4. Confirm that you want to remove the account by tapping on Remove account or tap on Cancel if you selected the wrong account
  5. Your account will now be deleted thanks

Check the battery to see if the sides are bulging in the middle. Do a spin test. Take the battery and put it on a flat surface, then spin it like a top. If it spins at all, the sides are not flat and the contacts are moving away from the contacts in the phone.

My XPeria X10 needs Hard Reset. How can I do it?

With the phone on
  1. Start by opening Main Menu next on open Settings folder.
  2. Tap on Privacy and select Factory Data Reset.
  3. Tap on Reset Phone, enter your password (if required) and confirm by selecting Erase Everything.
  4. Let the phone restart and you're done.
With Phone off: 1. Start with the phone off, to do it press Power button. 2. Press and hold both the left and right Action buttons under the display. 3. Press the Power button while the others 2 keys are still held. 4. Follow the on-screen instructions as the phone immediately begins the Factory reset process. I hope this helps :)

Before any operation with any new phone - Back it UP! Later you can restore it if somethings gone wrong. A) To read/write Trim Area using ADB: 1. Connect your phone to PC using USB Cable. 2. Enable USB-Debugging in Settings->Development menu 3. Install drivers 4. Go to TA work tab, click ADB in the software and press Connect. If you need to Cancel you can click cancel to stop operation 5. Wait software to check root in your phone and try to root it. 6. C) To unlock phone without Test Point (2010 phones only): 1. Training: Connect phone in Flash mode (Hold the back (or the Volume down in new 2012+ phones)) key and connect the USB cable. 2. Install Drivers (x64 or x86 - according your system OS) 3. Check if driver install ok 4. Disconnect phone 5. Enter your user id and password 6. Click unlock 7. Connect phone in Flash mode (Hold the back (or the Volume down in new 2012+ phones)) key and connect the USB cable. 8. Follow the on screen instructions (some phones require one or two reboot). with Test Point: 1.
