this issue appears to have nothing to do with how much space you actually have, whether it's on the SD Card or on the phone - it appears to be a big HTC Mail bug that's just crushing my phone as well, no matter what I purge or reset - there is a long thread here about it -forum.androidcentral.com/.../12215-htc-mail-memory-leak-bug-phone-storage-getting-low-2.html

You can transfer the pictures from your HTC Hero to your laptop using a USB cable.

First, make sure that you're phone is turn on. Connect the usb cable to the computer and to your HTC. Once you connected the phone & the computer, there will be a USB Connected option that will appear in your phone. Choose "mount." Open my computer and a new USB drive will appear. Open it and look for "DCIM" folder. Open that folder and open the folder named "100Media," that contains all the pictures from your camera.

If you go to the HTC website, you can search by phone and be able to download a PDF of the manual for your phone. Remember there are two different versions of the Hero, the CDMA version and the European version.

With that many texts, it will take the phone some time to delete, especially if you are trying to delete the entire thread. You will need to be patient and let the phone work through them all. Think that if it takes 3-4 minutes to load, how much longer the phone may need to load and then delete.

If you are talking about the security lock code to enter into the phone then once it is lost nothing can be done except flashing the mobile . Because if anybody can give the security code created then who ever who steals your phone can get into it and get your valuable information.

So as safety precaution to avoid that they have designed it such that if you forget the security lock you have to reset the mobile memory by flashing the mobile at an authorized service center.So while flashing the mobile all the data in the mobile memory will be lost and you can again start using the mobile.

Plug in the phone to your computer and use the Recuva software and see if this software can still recover all the data of your phone. Please take note that you might not get the 100% of files in your phone to be recovered.

Its an ANDROID phone, there is no sync software (drivers). You drag what files you want sync'ed onto the SD card that should be automaticly recognized by your computer (you may have to tell the phone to act like an SD Card).

Battery and Usage under Settings will tell you exactly what is draining your battery. You should power your phone off for a few minutes every 2 or 3 days.

Also try letting the battery die completely, and charging up to full UNINTERUPTED. This will help the phone reset it's battery meter, which may be the problem.

Your next step would be to backup the phone, apps, and SD Card files, and perform a factory restore. Then reinstall your apps and replace your data.

If that fails, you may simply need to purchase a new battery.

Welcome to Fixya. To fix the issue you need to reset the phone to its factory settings

To reset the phone using buttons:

With the phone turned off, press and hold down the volume down and send buttons, then press the end/power button.

You will see 3 Android images at the bottom of the screen.

Follow the instructions onscreen to reset your phone.

Tip: If your phone hangs or freezes, remove the battery then wait for a few seconds, and then re-install it. After re-installing the battery, turn on the phone.

try switching the phone off and on, that works on my phone. or make sure the charger is properly in the socket on the wall, or that the phones properly connected

if you have installed a rom, or rooted your phone, it may not work, there is nothing to be done.

have you tried calling your voicemail directly and not through an app?

I would start with a Master Reset. That's the best place to start.
Pulling the battery doesn't really do anything but fix little problems.

Resetting the phone deletes all data, including downloaded applications, and resets the phone back to its initial state. Press HOME > MENU, then tap Settings > Security > Factory data reset. On the Factory data reset screen, tap Reset phone and then tap Erase everything. To reset the phone using phone buttons, with the phone turned off, press and hold the HOME, END CALL/POWER, and BACK buttons. The reset process will start after a few seconds

code is applied by the company so that it is only used in england.
you can get it unlocked in a good mobile repairing shop.
no other option available.
