Emachines desktop won't go past windows can not complete insulation in safe mode restart, when I do it says the same thing again
If you have the original Windows CD, put it in the drive and try to boot to the disc. Each computer is different so there will be different methods to achieve this, but if you don't see a prompt to boot to the CD try tapping tab or F8 to see what other options you have for boot order.
If you can boot to CD, see if you can repair your startup, or run a check disk (depending on what version of Windows you're running). If you can give some more detail I can probably help you out better as to what you need to try. Best of luck!

My emachines W3052 desktop won't start but powers cpu fan and the hard drive light is steady on
Hi there Andrew, we could really do with more information, such as. Has the pc been modified since you have had it ? upgraded, been seen by a technician etc, if not, and you can do this, I would suggest trying a power supply for test, but make sure it exceeds your system requirements. i.e if your current psu says 250 watts do not choose a supply less than 250 watts, make it the same or a higher wattage.

How to set up wireless network on windows XP home edition?
OK-- are you talking about simply connecting one computer to a home network, or setting up wireless network in general? If there is a wireless adapter in the PC and you already have a wireless network, the adapter will list all the networks in your proximity, and you choose yours. I can go into greater detail with that when I see your response.
Thanks

Trying to restore emachine to factory settings.. When I go to emachines recovcery management, I get something saying "Empowering Technology is not ready. try again Later"
This is usually a sign that the partition on your hard drive that the recovery media is located in is corrupt. 3 reasons for this:
- bad recovery partition from the factory (bad image)
- Virus or spyware corrupted files to prevent usage which would prevent you from removing the problem with a recovery.
- Hard Drive issues (physical sections of the drive going bad.)
If you created recovery media, use those to recover your system. If you didn't, you may have to purchase recovery media from gateway for your model to recover the computer.
While it may cost you $30 to $50 dollars for the recovery media, it is a lot cheaper than the alternative of getting a tech to try to repair the partition or track down the virus or spyware.
The other advantage of recovery media is if the problems you were experiencing are hard drive related, you can put a replacement drive in and use those recovery disks to get your system working again.

Why is my e-machine giving me 4 beeps and wont boot up?
Usually 3 or 4 beeps in a row on many systems is a RAM issue.
If you have multiple RAM sticks try to remove one while the system if off and unplugged. Turn it on and see if the beeps continue. If so, remove the other ram stick and put back in the first stick you removed.
Repeat the process for each stick of ram until the beeping stops.
If it stops, this means you have found the bad ram module and can replace it.
Some computers requires ram to be installed in pairs, and that the pairs match (Check the stickers on the ram to ensure both are the same type and speed)
If the problem continues after removing and testing each stick of ram, you may want to have a service professional / Computer Repair shop take a look at the computer for further testing.
