My emahine e725 is froze onreovery magement
Looks like you will have to reinstall windows, unless you have a recovery disc.If you have the original Windows disc you can reinstall windows. If you want to keep all your old vids and pics, just put the disc in the drive , then restart your pc, make sure its set to boot from disc drive.install windows on the same place it is now DONT format the drive if you want to keep stuff, if not format it. if you dont format it will put all your current files into a folder called Windows.old after you get a fress install go to C: and look for windows.old

Emachines e627 web cam problem
Could be a simply focus adjustment within the cam software that needs to be done. Or the cam is bad itself try adjusting the focus wheel as well. It may be out of focus. Usually the adjustment is on the lens turn it in or out. Try testing the cam on another computer close by see if it is working well on another computer. If not replace the cam. Try re installing the cam software and driver files. John

Pci slot
By definition of being a notebook, it will not have a standard PCI card slot and any internal slots will take only very specific types of mini PCI cards such as for WiFi or Bluetooth etc.

Hi and welcome to Fixya!
In order to revert the machine back to its factory setting, you need to have the recovery disk (if you don't have it, call the warranty support line of e-machines so they can provide it to you).
To restore Windows from your recovery discs, you will need to
insert the first backup disc and enable the F12 Boot Menu via the BIOS Setup
Utility.
1 Turn on your computer and insert the first system recovery disc into the
optical disc drive. Restart your computer.
2 During startup when the eMachines logo shows, press the F2 key to enter
BIOS Setup, where you can set system parameters.
3 Use the left and right arrow keys to select the Main submenu.
4 Use the up and down arrow keys to select F12 Boot Menu.
5 Use the F5 or F6 key to change F12 Boot Menu to Enabled.
6 Press the ESC key to enter the Exit submenu, press the ENTER key to Exit
Saving Changes. Press the ENTER key again to select Yes. The system will
reboot.
7 After rebooting, when the eMachines logo shows, press the F12 key to
open the Boot Menu. Here you can select which device to boot from.
8 Use the arrow keys to select the IDE1*, then press the ENTER key. Windows
will be installed from the recovery disc.
9 Insert the second recovery disc when prompted, then follow the onscreen
prompts to complete the restore.
10 Remove the recovery disc from the optical drive once the restore is
complete. Do this before rebooting your computer.
Hope this helps!

My emachine e627 screen is dark and I cannot use
Try (on the bottom of the laptop) removing the door to the RAM, and pulling one stick out at a time, than starting it, and than the other stick, and starting it. If you still have a black screen, than the motherboard has gone.

A couple of things can be wrong:
- Your BIOS may have lost the settings of the hard disk and can therrefor not read the hard disk. To solve it you have to access your BIOS by restarting the computer, and then to press DEL or F2 (depending on your computer) until it comes up with a blue screen that shows you the BIOS Settings. on one of the pages (use your arrow keys to navigate) you will find the hard disk settings (sometimes described as IDE or SATA drives) One of them should have a value in it indicating a hard disk recognised, another will indicate a CD/DVD drive recognised. If it has values indicating a hard drive, press F10 to save and exit.
- The second option is that your hard disk has failed, and a new one must be installed. If you know someone that knows what they are doing, most of the data on the failed hard disk might be recoverable. If not, expect to lose it all.
- Certain viruses will attack the boot sector of the hard disk, rendering it useless. Formatting the hard disk might bring it back to life, but once again, all your data may be lost.

Hi
I hope i am assumming that your emachine is an acer if so i think you can do this
start
all programs
acer
acer recovery
in there it should give you a few options to :-
restore back to factory settings
re install applications
and burn a recovery disk normally about 3 dvd,s
also to burn an applications disk 1 dvd
this is really worth doing because sometimes ones hard drive will crash
losing you the ability to then restore your operating system onto a new hard drive
please if you have the option do this before you try the restore
also try to save anything that you may of put onto your laptop that you want or need to keep
either burn them to disk or copy onto a pendrive or spare usb hard drive
also i think there may be an option to get into the recovery consol by
pressing the power up key as well as F10
some laptops are power key+alt+F10
good luck
please let us know if this has helped you
so that we may be able to help others
many thanks
many thanks
