Clay, it sounds like the digitizer might have went bad when it received water damage. Touch screens are usually 3 parts. The 1st part (the part you actually touch with your fingers) is the outer glass. The 2nd part is the actual LCD that brings you picture. The 3rd part is the digitizer which is plugged in with a small ribbon cable and allows the LCD to sense your touch. This problem is pretty common even without water damage. You can actually purchase a new digitizer on Ebay for between $10-12 with free shipping. Whether or not you decide to attempt the replacement yourself will depend on your background with this type of equipment. It isn't extremely hard but I only say that because this is my area of expertise. You most likely have several areas of expertise that would boggle my mind. no, that can be a problem in your phone too. charge your phone fully while it is switched off, then switch it on and keep it on until it gets switch off saying battery low. that time period will be the stamina of the battery

It seems that your battery is old enough and need to be replaced with new one .
If that didn't work , then try to replace the charger .
If that also didn't work then the problem is with the jack in your Quickfire .

Well possibly there are many resigns for this problem but the main two resigns are 1. the charger is not working so they do not allow the battery to charge and phone will not work with or without charger.......2. May be the battery is faulty and not even pass the current to complete the circuit, so that the phone not work with charger also.....
First of all you can check the charger of your phone..... you need a ohm's meter to check it. Please post comments for more help or information........
