I just bought an electrolux wave touch washing machine and I'm starting it up running the installation cycle. It is giving me a check hose water hose error. The hot and cold are connected to the right place and there is no leaks. Please help!
I'm sure nojallo1 has already fixed his but I just ran into the same problem and didn't find anything in my searches for a solution. The problem I had was the test cycle wasn't long enough to get hot water through my water lines so it could verify the hot and cold hoses were in the proper places. Solution: Turn the hot water on in all the sinks in your house until they have hot water running through them. This will prime your hot water line so it is full of hot water instead of cold water. Then run the install cycle again and it should be fine.

Electrolux EWF 1074 get a ''lock'' icon on the display, but the door does open and close, just the machine doesn't work. The solution holding the Extra rinse and delay doesn't work for mine. Asking for another solution ?
you need to hold the option and extra rinse buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds...you will see the padlock symbol go and then use your machine as usual

i also have an electrolux washer that flashes E10 and also E20 when it is half way through a cycle, now for some reason it isnt draining properly?
e10 problems refer to water supply..so check the tap is on, the inlet hose is not kinkrd, and the filter in the inlet hose is not blocked. e20 refers towater drainage, so check the drain hose isn't kinked and the drain pump isn't clogged

Have a erro code E21 What is it
The E21 error code means the water in the washer is not pumping out fast enough. The solution is to check the washer installation. Make sure the drain hose is not kinked. Make sure the drain pump has 120 volts in the drain cycle. If it reads zero the control board will need to be replaced. If not, then it's the pump.

Electrolux EWF1074 with Error EH0. After 2 seconds of turning on the start and pause button blinks in red. Anyone know what EH0 means? I called them and even they were unsure. They charged me 95$ just for coming in to tell me they dont know anything... So sick of scams
In case of error in the mains, or like what happend today at my house, the power lines went partially down, providing too low voltage, EH0 or EH1 will occour. If you also notice that the lightning indoor is somewhat dimmed during this error, the voltage is too low.

E40 is the code showing
E40 error is door interlock faulty, could be the lock or it could be the pcb u have to test them.

error code E50, what does this mean? We select programme, all the lights are on, we press start and E50 appears. What does this mean?
e50 is a motor error code.check the motor brushes are ok and check the insulation on the motor as this will give you an e50 error code.could also be a faulty wiring loom to the motor or a faulty main control pcb
E50 says the motor is overheated, they recomen you let it sit for 30min to clear.
It can be the motor power supply triac has got a short circuit or there could be no signal from the motor tachometric generator, which will uaually mean a pcb fault, or wiring to motor or even the motor. hope this helps

thank you for any help
Hello terry_gwen - Based on the symptoms you are describing, you may either have a communication error from the main control board or the timer itself may not be operating correctly. I understand that the filter has been cleaned, however, if you noticed a humming noise, it could either be a clogged drainage hose, or it could possibly have another issue with the door lock assembly. I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose the washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts.

My Electrolux IQ touch front load washer gets it's trap or filter clogged regularly. What are the steps to get to the filter so I can clean it out myself. I've watch the tech do it once or twice and this should be doable by me with step by step instructions. Thanks de
Good Morning Deanna - Sounds like you are speaking about the
Coin Trap. Below are some basic troubleshooting steps you may wish to follow to
clean the trap:
·
Unplug the unit.
·
Remove the bottom
front access panel. There are two screws one on right and one on the left
towards the bottom of the front panel.
·
Now that the
panel is removed look inside on the bottom right hand side there is a black
looking accordion thing. This is the coin trap.
·
Clean the drum
out with as much water as possible that you can remove and have towels ready.
The next step you will have the remaining water come out of the bottom of the
drum and onto the floor.
·
At the top of the
coin trap where it is attached to the drum is a silver spring with a silver
screw. Loosen the screw and wiggle the coin trap down from the drum.
·
Reach inside the
coin trap and clean what is inside of it out.
·
Put the unit back together following the same steps backwards.
Hope this information proves to be helpful!
