Electrolux EIFLW55I Washer Questions & Answers
HALFWAY THROUGH THE WASH IT STOPS AND IT SAYS ITS WASHING WITH THE REMAINING TIME LISTED BUT ITS NOT WASHING
Hi Benny, this is Z. Thank you for your post!
From what you have described it sounds like you either have a communication problem with the control board or timer. Let's attempt resetting your washer. You can do this by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is good to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn your washer on. Select a normal cycle and verify if your washer does complete a cycle. If your washer will not operate, then at this point I would recommend contacting a professional to move forward accurately.

Which compartment for bleach?
Good Morning Friend,
I understand that you want to know which opening in the dispenser is for bleach on your Electrolux washer, model# EIFLW55I. The compartment where you will put bleach will be labeled "Liquid Bleach", and will also have a symbol of a triangle with the letters "CL" inside of it. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your washer status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.
-Best Regards-

When pushing the soap dispenser
Re: Soap dispenser door not opening properly...(in case you still need to know)
You might want to use a small mirror (and flashlight) to see where the the spring assembly fits. Turn the rod facing towards you with the flat side up. It attaches at the rear, top left corner, near a small opening on the back wall (shaped liked the assembly). Fits into the "grooves". Apply enough pressure and you will feel it snap into place.
E32 and E21 Error Codes
I had the code E21 error (not draining) on my 2012 Electrolux EWFLS70JTS0, which I'm guessing is similar to a Frigidaire Front Load Washer. After reading about the potential causes being related to drain or pump obstructions, I decided to try forcing compressed air into the drain hose at the rear of the washer to see if I could push out whatever got into the system. So I moved the washing machine out from the wall, and pulled the drain hose out from its wall inlet. No disassembly required. Then I placed the trigger air nozzle from my compressor into the drain hose that's connected to the back of the machine, and held it in place with my hand so that most of the air pressure would go up the hose and into the machine. Once I pulled the trigger to start the air flow it only took a few seconds to see bubbles appearing in the washer's tub. At that point it seemed any obstruction was now pushed out (where it went, I'm not sure. Somewhere in the standing water in tub I suspect). I suppose it would be just as effective to use a garden hose with water (if you don't have an air compressor), but a little more messy. Anyway, as soon as I put it in "quick wash" mode (which starts with a drain cycle), it drained fine. 100% problem solved! No more error code. And no repair bill!. I just hope that whatever was restricting the drain flow does not find its way back into the system again. It's been a couple of days and so far, so good.
Water will not drain. sewer line is not pluged.
Hi agnes!
Washing
machines, including those built by Frigidaire, have internal pumps. These pumps
help drain out the water from the washer tub between the wash, rinse, and spin
cycles. If the pump is damaged or the pump pulley system is frozen/stiff, the
water can become trapped in the washer tub. In both cases, the pump assembly
needs to be replaced. You can check by looking for a few signs that a pump is
dying or already dead.
1 Start the washer and wait for the washer tub
to fill with water. If you do not hear water or hear a motor whirring, the
washer motor may be dead.
2 Open the washer lid in mid-cycle. Note
whether or not the inner tub is still spinning around. The inner tub is the
inside surface of the washing compartment with many holes for water draining.
If the tub is not spinning but the motor is running, it is possible the pump is
dead. Check the pump pulley by removing the pump from the washer and trying to
rotate it by hand. If the pulley doesn't turn freely and is frozen or stiff,
replace it. Also, if the agitator is moving but the tub isn't, this is a sign the
pump is dying. For front-loading washers, do not attempt to open the door
mid-cycle. Look through the glass door. If there is enough water to come up
against the door, the pump is malfunctioning.
3 Wait for the washer to finish its cycle. Open
the unit. If water is still in the tub, the pump is likely dying or dead.
Cannot open the door of electrolux perfect balance washing machine
Hello Nina DeLuca - Try resetting the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes. If the door does not open, then it sounds like the washer is possibly experiencing a communication problem with the control board, wiring failure or faulty door lock. Contact a professional to move forward accurately to properly diagnose/repair unit.
