06 suzuki s50 turns over no spark

First check spatk plug is actually sparking by removing it from engine and reconnecting plug cap, then place metal part of plug against engine, with ignition on crank it over, if no spark try replacing plug first, if that fails check plug cap, lead, ignition coil and all the way back to the cdi unit

Look for a coil for 1981 suzi GS550L

You can narrow the search by looking for any twin lead 12 volt points ignition coil, as long as you dont get a cdi, or electronic ignition coil, any point coil will do the job

85 GS550 and the spark module or the spark igniter is bad. swapped the coils from right to left to verify the coils are both good, and they are. The pick up coils also swapped and they are good. I only get...

hi mate ,,i've got the same problem.<br /> i bought a basket case 550ef with no igniter unit(cdi) fitted,,turns out they're near impossible to find used,or stupidly priced...if i were you i'd go down the boyer bransden route because you don't have to buy the coils or pick ups you can get the igniter module seperately.hope this helps.........john..

Bike will not spark but gets gas

Check for 12v to coils & ignition box/ CDI/ unit. If good, Most likely CDI unit has failed. Try Ebay or salvage

No spark on Hyusu

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

For a "no spark" problem with a Hyosung RX125, check:
  • temporarily disconnect the battery. With the engine on at both the ignition switch and engine kill switch, verify that the green wire to the CDI does not measure 0 ohms to ground;
  • if it does, check the ignition switch and the engine kill switch;
  • it it measures anywhere between 50 ~ 500 ohms, then reconnect the battery and check that there is +12 on the orange wire going to the CDI with ignition switch on;
  • for a pulsating voltage (high ACV) at the white / blue wire coming from the CDI going to the ignition coil;
  • for a pulsating voltage (low ACV, 0.5VAC) at the green wire coming from the pulser coil going to the CDI; and
  • of course, check if the CDI (black / white) is connected to the ground.
Postback results of tests.

Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.

Fuel pump won't power up on 94 rf600r

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

On most Suzukis with fuel pump that I have worked on, the wiring would be:
  • Yellow/Green - start interlock, connected to the clutch lever position switch and/or starter control relay;
  • Black/White - ground;
  • Orange/Yellow - ignition B+12; and
  • Black/Yellow - trigger pulse, connected to the - terminal of one of the ignition coils and/or to the CDI/igniter.
Just a start, do postback how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.
