2001 Suzuki AN 400 Burgman Questions & Answers
No spark at plug
I had the same problem with my Burgman 400,weak spark at the plug. Replaced the CDi did not help. In the end got a new coil off eBay (that fitted the 250 Burgman a lot cheaper) & the problem was cured.
Battery located
The battery is inside a panel in front of your right knee (when your sitting on the bike).
Rear caliper adjustment for new brake pads
There is no adjustment of calipers - they are hydraulic.
If you mean how do you push back the brake piston to allow you to install new brake pads, why didn't you say so? :)
Use a wooden stick (I use the wife's wooden spoon - but don't get caught!) to push back the pistons - don't use anything metal, you run the risk of damaging the dust seals.
Where is battery located on burgman 400 scooter
Open compartment just below the instrument cluster with the ignition key. on right hand side is a small cover held on by jis (Phillips) screws. Remove the panel and the battery will be in plain sight with the terminals at the front bottom. Remove the retaining clips and leads and then you can take out the battery and charge or replace. Reverse the process to replace.
Cant find where the thermostat goes on my suzuki
Thermostat is on left side of bike, remove side tupperware pieces, follow radiator hose to engine head, it's in a housing. There is a bleed screw that faces forward, on the housing. 8 mm wrench for the bleed screw. Thermostat for my 2008 is $43 at dealer, just checked on it. Don't replace unless broken. If the bike overheats, first check for trapped air in the system, when cold, loosen bleed screw with radiator cap off, if air bubbles out, you have air in system, tighten bleed screw, refill at cap, run bike 10 seconds, repeat until no more air. See YouTube for procedure, mitch has many videos. Good luck!
Misfire
Hi ..... Do you have access to a multi meter ? Place across the battery, when bike is running and you should display 13.2 - 14volts. Sounds like a dying battery (dead cell ?), lack of charging or elctrics shorting to earth .............. go for the first two first.
Good Luck.

Whats the correct tyre pressure
Hi, a 1999-2003 suzuki burgman /an 400 using standard tyre sizes 110/90-13 front is 1'75 bar (25psi) 130/70-13 rear is. 2 bar-(29psi) and 2.8 bar (41psi when carrying a passenger) check the tyre for correct seating on the rim, dont think you have done any harm, the only danger inflating small tyres to a high pressure is you risk blowing it off the rim, as you have now corrected it you should be ok with that, paul
Front brake stuck on
Sounds as if your brakes are binding, remove front calipers one at a time to see which one is stuck, ie remove right side first if you can push bike you know it is that caliper, if only 1 caliper then it is self explanatory
Bike seems to be suffering fuel starvation. Idles
Yes fuel flow, choke on, dirty air cleaner, bad spark plug, bad coil, although they normally fail completely, plug wire sparking to chassis, timing not advancing (low power), sticky valves.
That is all I can think of right now.
If it revs and then cuts out=flow if it does not tack up(under load) at all carb is . Check for stopped up high speed jets.
