Hey Darnell, make sure you have not left out a thrust bearing or thrust washer that rides on the clutch push rod... it's what pushes the pressure plate out..
put the bike in second or third gear. hold in the clutch and start building speed. The faster the better, then let out on clutch quickly and if motor fires, squeeze clutch back in to keep it running.
