2002 zx12r battery keeps goin
If you have replaced the stator, regulator/rectifier, and the battery I would suggest running continuity test on the wiring that is in the harness to check for breaks or bad connectors.
Put a new fan switch and still overheting could the thermostac
The thermostat, the water pump, clog, radiator cap, or fan switch are the usual suspects. Since you have already changed the switch the thermostat will be the next along with the radiator cap. The thermostat can be tested with boiling water by dropping removed thermostat in water slightly hotter than it's opening temp and it should open.
00 zx12r stuck in 3rd gear can't shift up or down
Check the clutch for pressure, if it is stuck changing gears will be extremely difficult. If the clutch is stuck then you need to check your clutch cable for slack. If the clutch is releasing but it's still stuck in 3rd you have damaged a shift fork and need to do serious transmission work.

My low fuel light does not work on my 2000 ZX12R.
There is sending unit in the tank.I would'nt fix it as it may be costly. Here is an easy solution each time you fill the tank zero the odometer. You shold get around 200Km on a full tank.Regardless of the mileage switch to reserve if your engine starts to sputter. You should get an additional 10 miles at reduced speed, which will get to a gas station. With experience you know your range on a full tank.If you choose my recomendation then remove or cover the low fuel light as it could be annoying

I have a 2000 zx12 left to me from my family
You should have the injectors cleaned, As fuel gets old, the most burnable part of it evaporates This leaves a very liquid gunk behind, the gunk contains some very big bits of rubbish, (compared to clean fuel or injectors) it sounds as though you have blocked injectors. If you give them a good clean and fill the tank with new fuel you should fix the problem.
