Bleed the clutch's hydraulic system fully ... you must remove all air from/in your lines / cylinders / actuators... ect ect use a high quality dot 3 or dot 4 synthetic hydraulic fluid as per manufacturer's recommendations.... good luck if this does not correct issue then a fresh clutch pack may be in order but bleed system fully before replacement of any components if you have never bled a hydraulic system before then review the many videos of this operation on youtube watch a couple of them to fully understand how to bleed a clutch....Best of luck to you.
What is P.A.I.R. valve?
http://www.moccsplace.com/images/pair/pair1.htm ... if you go to his home page, I think he still sells a inexpensive kit that addresses the hoses etc that have to be blocked off if you choose to remove the system.
2004 Suzuki VL1500 Intruder LC Motorcycle backfire
If they cant duplicate it your good.Usualy with backfiring i would make sure to eliminate any exhaust leaks. The dealer is inexperienced at solving compound problems,(sorry) not picking a fight, but sometimes cleaning is not goog enough,I went through this with a 1400 Intruder.several attempts were needed to get the two carbs level on the same line with each other.so the floats would work properly together, then set fuel flow and the air flow through the ventouri in the carbs. Also i had to make these adjustments while level (not on side stand) The floats were very sencitve to needle valve to seat adjustment(bent to open or close some of the flow)
All guages stopped working
MOST probably just a loose connector - remove the meter and fuel inlet cover (center chrome with speedometer in it) and reach under the front of it - unplug and replug the connector. It has a small clip you need to squeeze to unplug it. If the clip didn't catch, the connector might have just fallen off.
My 2002 suzuki intruder 1500vl is backfiring on the back cylnder y is that
This could be any number of things. First consider the most obvious. Change the rear spark plug. Then check the compression in the rear cylinder. If compression is low, it could be a valve sticking or a piston ring wore or a hole in cylinder. If compress is alright, rebuild carbs. I would check out options in a row. I don't think it could be a be the stator or regulator. But it could be. Those would need to be checked out by dealer. Hope tis helps.
Some guages work some dont
Might be as simple as re-seating the plug to the gauges. I'd certainly try that before tearing anything else apart. Not hard to get to. Remove allen bolts under gas cap cover and 2 on front of chrome tank assembly, plus 3 Philips head around gas cap, and lift assembly. All guage wires are in one plug under front portion of assembly. NOTE: There's a small clip under the rubber boot you need to squeeze to release the plug. Unplug, replug and see what your gauges do (you can test this -before- reassembly) Good Luck!
