Check your instrument cluster lights, interior dome lights and radio. Some of these are usually tied into the clock fuse. The radio is definitely on the same circuit in the rav4. If nothing else is out, it is the clock itself. It is a very common issue with this, and many other clocks of this era. I offer a repair solution with a lifetime guarantee. Check it out: www,autoclockrepair.com
I have info on how to remove the clock etc there as well. Drop me a note if you have any questions, thanks!
This is for anyone with this problem, I had the SAME issue and NO one had the right answer on here, if they best you can do is "this must be a wiring isssue" your an IDIOT and should go back to facebooking. IF you have checked your fuses and that is not the issue, it is the cigerette lighter, there are fuses behind here that have gone out and is not completing the circuit for the radio, the lighter, the clock or the automatic windows. I found a 5 minute fix and it works on you tube! THANK you for people that know what they are talking about out there....here is the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2SphvH4Kno
