If your RAV4 originally had a JBL radio, the steering wheel has provisions for control of amplifier volume. The JBL also has a MUTE output which may be preventing the amplifier from turning on.

Seems you need to get a qualified mechanic. Many times a used ECU must be 'programmed' to work with a car different than it was originally installed in. You should be able to have this done at a dealer, or check around for a qualified garage that has the software to do this.

the air bags are part of the car construction and to remove them makes the car unroadworthy
that means that in the event of an accident, your insurance,both 3rd party and comprehensive ,will be wiped exposing you to large payments for loss and injury
I can understand you wanting leather seats and toyota would have accommodated this wish in their cars with the proper air bag leather seats
the real answer here is to find the correct leather seat with air bags so that a clean swap can be made
sorry that it is not the answer you want but I do not advise how to fix that puts any one in danger

probably because it is over heating
run the fault codes to check for transmission problems
check oil level in the a/t
check coolant level in the radiator
