It's not as bad as it looks, it's only one bolt that you need to loosen and pull with a braker bar and replace the belt. Email me wit the car make and model and I will send you instructions.

    Hello

    Find the belt tensioner and using a socket and ratchet move the tensioner wheel and arm upwards just enough to slip the belt out from under the tensioner wheel.
    Make note of routing pattern for old belt so new belt can be installed exactly the same.

Replacing serpentine accessory belt. Is it necessary to remove motor mounting brace to remove and install new serpentine belt?
From my understanding I think you have to remove the motor mount and mount the engine to remove it because I have been asking different mechanics about the serpintine belt on my 1998 Buick Lasabre.

How to change serpintine belt 2002 3.5 aurora
Use a 3/8" breaker bar to move the belt tensioner. While holding pressure on the tensioner, remove the serpentine belt from any of the pulleys. Gently release pressure from the tensioner. Remove the old belt and replace with the new one. Reapply pressure to the tensioner and pop the belt over the last pulley.

Serpentine belt replacement
go to gates.com and click on the Part Locator & Interchange link on the left, enter your vehicle information, look down and click the camera icon next to the serpintine belt, this is a diagram of how to route it. These engines have a tensioner pulley, it has a 3/8" square drive hole in it to release the tension on the belt, I start at the crankshaft and loop around leaving the tensioner for last, hope this helps, let me know

Replace the serpentine belt
First note the route of the belt. make a drawing.
Adjustments are made by moving the power steering pump. far right of belt system.
loosen top fixed bolt above center of drive wheel on p/s pump.
loosen bolt below drive wheel on p/s pump.
Push p/s pump to the left to loosen belt.
Remove old belt .replace following route of your drawing.
move p/s pump to right .
top of belt should have 1/2 inch deflection.
tighten bolts
