Check on the inner fender behind the battery. There's a group of 5 relays, 3 on the fender well,
and 2 will be on the strut housing. the innermost one is the fuel pump relay, the outer one is the starter relay.

They are just standard Chrysler relays.....you can get them pretty cheap.

Under hood, driver side fender lining, may be a relay pack, note the wires colors in diagram to find fuel pump relay. Compare wire colors on relay connector. Just my opinion.

Were is the fuel pump relay located
On a 1991 Dodge Spirit, with a 2.5L 4 cylinder its on the drivers side inner panel and is the second relay.

Also be sure to disconnect the battery for 15 min and reconnect to reset the switch. Here is a wiring diagram as well for the fuel system

1991 dodge spirit.. ran great then next day wouldnt start. only starts when you put gas in the carburater.. changed fuel pump still wont start.. please help
usually if thats the only way it will start that means you have no fuel to engine. first off, check the fuse and relay for the fuel pump. next get under car at fuel tank and put your hand on tank while someone turns ignition to on. if the pump works. then you can feel it vibrate. a fuel pump only turns on a few seconds, to pressurize the fuel line. then when running its on all the time. check fuse and relay first before doing anything else. have a good one !!

Location of fuel pump relay
Hi,

The fuel pump relay is located on the inner fender behind the battery.
There is a group of 5 relays, 3 on the fender wall, and 2 on the strut housing.

The innermost one is the fuel pump relay,

The outer one is the starter relay.
