Dash lights and tail light not working

My dash lights and tail lights are not working. I've checked all the fuses including #9 and they are all good. Not sure where to start looking. Maybe a relay??? The headlights come on fine when it gets dark but the tail lights and dash lights don't.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The dash lights and tailights are on the same fuse link. everything else will work like brake lights and turn signals but this one fuse causues alot of problems. Sometimes this fuses isnt marked on your cover so you might have to look in the maual to find the right fuse . some will be under the hood some will be under the dash .

Good luck to you all on finding this little fuse hope you find it before the cops pulls out behind you when its dark :)

Not a difficult job.

Dash lights not working

Have you checked your tail light's as well? Chevrolet's dash light's wont work if you have blown a tail light fuse. Their way of letting you know you have no tail lights. check the tail light fuse and go from there. Good luck..

No tail lights on 04 suburan

Get a test light/ fuse tester and check every single fuse you have (including the ones under the hood). You're on the right track. It's very, very likely to be a fuse somewhere, if you've verified every one of your bulbs are good.

Insturment lights do not turn on

CHECK TAIL LIGHT FUSE, THAT FUSE SUPPLIES VOLTAGE TO THE DASH LIGHTS FUSE. IF THE TAIL LIGHTS ARE WORKING, CHECK THE INSTRUMENT FUSE. IF BOTH FUSES ARE GOOD, TURN THE DASH LIGHT ADJ. BACK & FORTH, IF STILL NO LIGHTS, I WOULD REPLACE THE DASH LIGHT CONTROL. WHILE CHECKING THE DASH LIGHTS YOU MAY HAVE TO COVER YOU & THE DASH WITH A BLANKET TO MAKE IT DARK AROUND THE DASH.

Tail light won't work but brake light will

Check 10amp fuses #9 and #23 in the fuse block on outbord end of left side of dash panel. With driver door open you should be able to see the small access panel on end of dash.

1999 dodge caravan

Do you own a test light? Check for power at wires behind socket? Clean socket good , check contact spots for bulb & clean any rusty side of the socket with emery cloth, or sandpaper, for good contact also.
