SOURCE: how to remove overhead dvd player

  1. If there are any visible screws from the outside of the unit, or from the inside of the unit when the screen is folded down, be sure to remove them first.
  2. The unit should snap off from the sides, be careful not to break the clips.
  3. Disconnect the wires from the unit, and continue to remove the base plate attached to the ceiling of the vehicle.

SOURCE: rear DVD player not functioning

We had the same issue when we purchased our 2005 Uplander. We had to take it in for service (thank God it was covered under the warranty). The dealership fixed the problem stating only that it was a wiring issue between the head unit and the dvd player. Wish I had more info for you.

How many lbs. pressure a/c go'es into 2005 chevy uplander van

Empty with front and rear air - probably 2.5 lbs which is more than 3 cans.
There should be a sticker under the hood that says. Maybe in your owners manual too.

try unhooking battery for a few minutes and see if resets system unlikely it will work but worth a shot. will most likely have to get it out with tweezers or a pick. when you do see if it is warped this would cause it to hang up

Instal dvd in uplander 2005

It's going to depend on where you put it in the front? or the rear? and what type of DVD player your going to use need to know that information to help you but it only takes a hour or a little more depending on brand of DVD and what you have to do. if you have a lighter where you are installing it then you can get your power from there so let me know what type yo are putting in and if it's up front or i the rear. 2007 Chevy Uplander Rear Overhead A/C Vents Won't Work

Have you checked the Aux switch near the bottom of the center control console.
There should be a knob with: Aux, Off, 1, 2, 3. This is the switch for the rear AC blower.
If the driver wants to control the rear AC, use the 1, 2, 3 settings.
If you put it on Aux, Than the rear AC is controlled by the passenger in the back seat using the extra controls located on the Overhead DVD player. (The front AC must be on the rear to work)
