Check for power at the horn with a volt meter. If you don't have one a 12v light will work too. If there is power there replace the horn, if not you will have to check the wiring back to see where the problem is.
Hope that helps

Check for power at the horn plug. Check for a good ground at the horn. Otherwise the problem could be the relay (even if it clicks) or the wiring to the horn from the relay.

SOURCE: can some post the 1999 gmc sierra wiring diagram

you don't have enough pressure in your system. odds are you have a leak someplace and the factory installed a saftey switch to keep the ac from running when there is no pressure. This way you don't end up burning up your compressor.

I have a 1995 Chevy S 10 and the horn does not work. I think my problem is under the dash. Are there any switches, relays, or breakers I need to be looking\r\nfor? I have traced from horn to fuse panel and...

The horn relay is in the fuse/relay box under the hood. so the fuse is HOT on both sides? you should hear the horn relay click when pressing on the horn switch. there may be other relays in that fuse box to swap with and see if the horns work, if the relay clicks, its "usually" good, but the contacts may be bad. if the relay clicks, check for power at the horn. DARK GREEN wire, if it has power , then check the black wire, thats the ground. If it has power and ground, but does not work, the horn is bad.

Where is my horn relay located in my 92 olds cutlas cruiser ?

have you checked the fuse for the horn you don`t say what you have done to this point,if the fuse is good and you hear a click when you push on the horn button, then the horn relay is good as that is what is clicking,if not you will have to check the horn itself as some relays won`t work if the horn not itself is not working,by running a jumper wire from the battery positive to the terminal on the horn, it should work if not then the horn is the problem.the relay is on the fuse panel under the dash.I think it is a square sided relay

The click you here is the horn relay, You need to find the horns and check for power at the wire connectors. But you probably have a bad low and now a bad high not horn. since the relay clicks your fuse is good so that eliminates the fuse.

I just bought a 2000 Saturn SL 4-dr sedan. It's in great shape, but the horn doesn't work and the dashboard light don't work. Is this a simple fix with replacing the fuses or dash light or is it a little...

Check fuse for horn and for dash lights. If the interior lights work then suspect dimmer switch for the dash lights. If you press the horn button do you hear a click under the hood or inside the car? If you do not then the fuse is blown and if the fuse is good then the relay may be suspected bad. If the fuse is good and the relay clicks then suspect the horn to be bad. If fuse is blown and you put a new one in and you push the horn and the fuse blows again, then disconnect the horn before replacing the fuse again. Then push the horn button and see if you hear the relay click if you hear a click the the horn is bad or wiring butmost likely the horn. If you have the horn unplugged and the fuse is good and you push thee horn button and no relay click suspect the horn button to be bad. Hope this helps.

Bought an 2004 honda accord and the horn does not work. What is the procedure for repairing this issue?

simple circuit, but can be hard if problem is switch in steering wheel. First check fuse and relay at fuse box. relay should click when horn button on wheel is pushed. If relay doesn't click, either button or relay is bad. If relay clicks, test for voltage at horn. You can use a simple test light available at the auto parts store if you don't have a voltmeter. If there is voltage at the horn, replace horn.
If relay does not click, replace relay to see if that fixes your problem. If new relay doesn't fix, you have a bad switch in the steering wheel or possibly bad wiring. cannot help you with switch as it's different on every car. any questions--let me know.

I have a 89 golf, horn doesn't work but it makes a clicking noise when the horn button is pushed any ideas to get it to work?

Your horn buzzer is either broken, or it is not getting power. The click you hear is the horn relay. It is good that you can hear it.

To diagnose the problem, locate the horn module. It should be behind the grill in the front of the car. Remove the power wire. Get an assistant to press the horn button while you measure voltage in the connector. If you have voltage, replace the horn. If not, find out why there is no voltage. It could be a blown horn fuse or a broken wire. Good luck.

2004 Hyundia Elantra. My horn does not work either.

if i'm looking at the right diagram, the horn-a/c fuse & horn relay is in the underhood fusebox. if your
a/c clutch is working then you have power there. short of diving in with a multimeter or computer-safe testlight,
i would listen for the horn relay to click when the horn button is pressed. that circuit is hot all the time and the horn switch
grounds the horn relay. if you hear a click then most likely you have a bad horn/s. if you don't hear a click then you have a
bad horn switch or bad clockspring in the steering column. and .... there's always the possibility of just having a bad
connection somewhere in that circuit. if you see another relay with the same part number as the horn relay,
try swapping relays. good luck ........
