D4 blinking, spedometer not working, check engine light on
Hi, a few questions 1st. Did your mechanic check for engine codes? Is your Honda a v-6 or 4 cylinder?
The flashing D4 light indicates a possible transmission malfunction. You should avoid rapid acceleration until the cause of the light blinking is determined.
If you have the V-6, there is a diagnostic port to connect a scan tool to read any stored engine codes that have turned on the check engine light. This port is located behind the ashtray in the center console (most cars did not have this til 96).
If you have the 4 cyl engine, there is a service connector located under the dash on the pass. side. Inside the connector is what looks like a 2 wire plug should be attached. Take a paper clip, unbend it, and insert the 2 ends of the clip into the connector to 'jump' it. Turn the ignition switch to the on position (don't start the vehicle), and the check engine light will flash. Count the flashes, short flashes are for code #'s 1 to 9 (single digit code), a 2 digit code will be a long flash for the 1st digit, followed by a short flash for the 2nd digit. If there is more than one code, they will be separated by a pause. They will repeat so you can count them and write them down. Let me know what the code #'s are so I can help further. Curt
Replaced the Distributor, Coil & Main Relay in
the best thing you can do is pull the code and work from there.
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=21259this thread shows you how to pull the code without using a scanner. its pretty simple. the only reason i can think of why your d4 and check engine light would go on at the same time would be either the main relay you installed is not the correct one or the speedometer is giving problems now. hope this helps. goodluck, and if you need more assistance, let me kknow
Windshield crack repair
The windshield is actually a piece of safety equipment designed to hold you inside the car in a horrific accident. Once the windshield has a crack, the integrity of the safety equipment is compromised and should be replaced. Repairing it is not suitable. If your seat belt was ripped in half, would you feel comfortable sewing it back together? I hope not.

So what happened to begin with?

If the power from your battery to the Honda radio is interrupted the
Anti-Theft feature kicks in, the radio is rendered inoperable and the
screen reads 'CODE'. You must enter in the Anti-Theft Radio Unlock Code
(usually 5 digits) to make it operational again. You know that much by
now.

Car electrical problems
I have this same old 95 Accord, four cylinders. It started with two of the spark plugs were going back, causing the radio to cutoff suddenly. The engine stops once awhile and bad mileage. Battery did not last long. I have to disconnect the radio antenna, as there was a short. Do not know if these can help. Good luck.
My 1995 Honda Accord shut
Before replacing the fuel pump an finding out it isn't the problem ,have the vehicle checked . Could be ignition system problem , bad ignition module .Check for spark After it shut's off . No spark would sound the same way (
sounded like it wasn't getting gas. )
