Cooling fans only run when the temp,of the coolant get to about 215 to 218 degrees, and shut them selves off, when the engine cools down,if they do not cut off,the engine is not cooling down, now,if the ac is on,the cooling fans will stay on until the ac is shut off.

Cooling fans atay on always

pull the connection of the fan switch sender unit in the head (2 wires in a square looking plug) probably next to the temperature gauge sender unit. If pulling the plug stops the fan then the problem will most likely be in that switch keeping the ECM thinking that the engine is running hot.

2004 sunfire cooling is always on when the car is running

The cooling fan is controlled by a temperature switch located on the radiator or on the engine. When the temperature of the coolant exceeds the switch temperature rating, the switch closes and energises a relay that switched a voltage to run the fan and it will continue to run until the coolant temperature drops back below the opening point of the switch. In your case, you may need to have the cooling fan replaced.

Radiator Fan always Running

Temperature sensors trigger cooling fan. But can be a stuck cooling fan relay that refuses to disengage.

This fan will strain charging system and may cause engine to run too cool at times.

Have a 97 catera, cooling fan is always running, thinking that it may be the thermastat. if it is, where is the thermastat located? heat is warm, not hot.

if the cooling fan is always running its a temp. sensor you will have to consult a repair manual to find the correct sensor

2003 Saturn Vue electric fan always running

Check the fan relay, probably in fuse box in the engine compartment. Check owners manual to be sure. I have seen these melt causing fan to run all the time.

Cooling fans run continously, no a/c,

by the blower moter always being on i would think it would be the blower motor resistor, this controls fan speed and is located under the dash in the blower case easy to replace.
