SOURCE: 2006 Chevrolet Uplander LT 2wd bad road noise in the rear end

Seems like you have a bad DEALER. Because dealers are factory trained and have access to the latest bulletins and prelim information (THAT ISN"T AVAIL ANYWHERE ELSE). If they can't fix a problem or verify it, they have the ability to call GM engineering and speak with an engineer about the problem and get advice where to look. Coming online and saying that you have a noise from the rear while driving could be a hundred different things. GO to the GM Dealer, take a test drive WITH a technician. Its a 2006 its under warranty, and it is THEIR job to find the problem. If you aren't satisfied with the dealer, call customer assistance. Once customer assistance contacts them im sure you will get alot more help.

SOURCE: 2007 Chevrolet Uplander LT ABS and TC light on

We were having this problem...have your wheel bearing checked out. There was a sensor in the drivers side wheel bearing...once we replaced it (because it was going out) the ABS and Traction Control warning lights stopped coming on.

How to remove cover rear bumper on a Nissan Quest 2008

To remove the rear bumper cover on a 2008 Nissan Quest, you can follow these general steps:
  1. Prepare the Vehicle: Ensure that the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is turned off. Put on safety goggles and gloves to protect yourself during the removal process.
  2. Locate the Fasteners: Look for the fasteners securing the rear bumper cover. They are typically located underneath the bumper cover, near the wheel wells, and along the bottom edge of the bumper.
  3. Remove the Fasteners: Depending on the specific model and trim level, the fasteners may be screws, bolts, or plastic clips. Use the appropriate tools, such as a screwdriver or socket wrench, to remove the fasteners one by one. Turn them counterclockwise to loosen and remove them. Keep the fasteners in a safe place for reinstallation later.
  4. Disconnect Electrical Connections (if applicable): If your Nissan Quest has any electrical connections, such as sensors or lighting, attached to the rear bumper cover, disconnect them carefully. Look for connectors near the edges or inside the trunk area. Gently detach the connectors by pressing the release tabs or using a flat-head screwdriver to release any locking mechanisms.
  5. Release the Clips: Once the fasteners are removed, there may be plastic clips or tabs securing the bumper cover to the vehicle's body. Carefully pry or release these clips using a trim removal tool or a flat-head screwdriver. Take care not to damage the bumper cover or the vehicle's body.
  6. Remove the Bumper Cover: With all the fasteners and clips released, gently pull or wiggle the rear bumper cover away from the vehicle's body. Start from one side and work your way to the other, ensuring that all connections and clips have been detached. Be cautious of any remaining electrical connections as you remove the bumper cover completely.
Please note that the exact steps and fastener locations may vary slightly depending on the specific trim level and optional features of your 2008 Nissan Quest. It's always recommended to consult the vehicle's owner's manual or a professional technician for more precise instructions tailored to your vehicle.
Take your time during the removal process to avoid any damage to the bumper cover or the vehicle's body. If you're unsure or uncomfortable performing the removal yourself, it's best to seek assistance from a qualified technician or a reputable automotive service center.

Removing rear bumper cover for 2007 uplander

Lift the tail gate. There are clips or screws along the top edge. Remove this. The clips all you do is pull the center pin with a panel tool or pliers then the rest will come out. Then you will need to remove the clips holding the rear side of each of the back wheel wells in. Under that will be more clips, screws or bolts that hold the side edges of the bumper cover on.

Where is the rear heater motor located on 2008 uplander

If the van has E59 on the RPO sticker you have to remove the left rear lower trim panel to access the motor. If it does not have E59 just remove the left rear compartment lid and compartment to access the motor. RPO E59 is a power left sliding door.

I have a 2006 Ford Explorer and 2 of my park aid assist sensor are bad. They are in the rear bumper. How would i replace the sensors? Is it really necessary to remove the bumper?

You only need to remove the bumper cover. Remove both tail lamp assemblies. Under the tail lamps you will a 10mm and a 8mm bolt, remove these. Look into each rear wheel well rearward and you will find a T20 torx screw on both sides, remove these. On the top of the rear bumper, between the bumper and the bottom of the liftgate opening you will find 6 to 8 plastic rivets that can be removed by pulling the center pins out, remove these. At this point you should be able to lift upward and rearward and release the bumper cover. Once the cover is free you must disconnect the electrical connector to the sensor wiring harness. With the bumper cover on the ground or a bench, you will see 4 9/16" nuts that hold the styrofoam bumper cushion to the bumper cover, remove these. Now you should be at the point where the backup sensors are accessable. When you install the new sensors be sure your electrical connectors click when they connect. these connectors go on hard and if they don't click you will be doing this job again. Reassemble in reverse order.
Hope this helps

How do you remove the spare tire from a 2006 chevy uplander?

To remove the spare you need to access tools stored in the back of the vehicle, passenger side storage area. Open llftgate, remove net (if equipped), lift tab and remove cover to tool storage. Attach folding wrench to extension, insert 'chisel' end on an angle through the hole in the rear bumper and into the hoist shaft. Turn wrench counter-clockwise to lower spare enough so you can pull it from beneath the van to detach. Good luck!

2005 Lincoln Navigator. Message says to Check

Most likely the problem you are experiencing with the park assist is a fault in one of the sensors mounted in the rear bumper. I would not consider it to be a major fix, however there will be a few hours labor involved as the bumper cover needs to be removed to replace the sensors.
