If the lights come on but just do not flash, replace the flasher relay. Your Thunderbird has 2 flasher relays. One for the Turn signals and one for the Hazard lights. The turn signal relay is located Front seating area, driver side, under dash, driver side of steering column, mounted in lower corner of fuse block . The hazard relay is located Front seating area, driver side, under dash, driver side of steering column, mounted in rear of fuse block. Replace the one for the Turn Signals. Turn signals not working

Suspect the multi-function switch. (turnsignal) these fail a lot.

make sure your fuses are ok and youve got power if ok check the blinker sender unit its usually round and silver with 2 or 3 wire going to it. usually under the dash but could be in the engine bay

Both blinkers don't work but flashers do

There should be a flasher unit on the fuse box under the dash for the turn signals and another behind the dimmer switch for the hazards.
Sometimes one of the flashers is behind the fuse box in the glove compartment if equipped.
Don't be surprised if the flasher is not the problem. Most of the time the problem is the multi-function switch on the column.
There are stories online about using WD40 to take care of the switch problem.

2005 Ford Focus- Blinkers, Brake lights and hazards don't work -just change the bulbs and they still don't work. Help!

That should be on two different fuses, but everything goes thru the turn signal switch.
The switch might be faulty. A mechanic would check for voltage there.

I have a 1990 Ford Taurus and my blinkers don't

blinkers sounds like the flasher unit is not working. It's located under dash. Also check for burnt out bulbs.
Rear defrost, or rear defogger?: Your defogger for the rear window would run off a relay, probably located in the fuse panel of your car. Often, the connections at the rear window get broke or disconnected.
Front defrost: does your heater blower work?

Blinkers not working

Look under the dash for a panel of fuses open the lid and look inside the lid for a list of them and see which one goes to the blinkers, dimmer, or head lights check them all by pulling them out and looking thru them to see if the wire in them is broke if so replace it if not you may have another set under the hood try those as well you may have a relay switch in the fuse area as well looks like a little black square that may go to them that is bad as well if the fuses don't work you may need to get someone to check the relays

Blinkers and hazards don't work on my 1998 ford explorer what can it be ?

Assuming your battery is charged, ignition is on and the bulbs are all good

This sounds like a FUSE.

Be sure to check under the dash on both sides, drivers and passenger side.
Also under hood for any MAXI fuses...

Hope this helps you out.
