My villager would not start unless I jump it. As I drive the abs light comes on and the car feels like its going to stall. I put it in park and it died.

If you have to jump the battery, then either the altenator or voltage regulator (built in altenator) is bad. Most part stores will test it for free. Even in the vehicle. Either the altenator/regulator is bad, or there is a short draining the battery.
The is a seperate issue. Could be bad abs pump or circuit which will have to be diagnosed with a code scanner or engine diagnostic machine just for abs systems.

Why the abs,the battery light come on together and car will not start without a jump

If it runs well once it is started, you probably just need a new battery. If you have unusual lights on the display, you probably have a bad alternator.

My sons1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee had the gauges light on and would not start like battery was dead. Had it jump started and it started. When he put in park it stalled jumped again and worked.

Sounds like a charging system problem and the alternator may not be working. The gauge light will come on if the charging gauge is showing low so you will look at the gauges. Have the battery and charging system tested

2009 Jeep Lib Speedometer Stops, Stalls and LIghts come on

no , you were told wrong, but ABS is bad too. (or was just the stall resetting ABS to self test mode)
you have 2 independent failures.
1: brakes. (if ABS is on,, not stalled !!!)
2: engine. (this is IT, fix this)

you are guessing at ABS parts.? just throwing them. why do that?
my guess is you have a mech, and you want seconded guessing
on line with blind folks here.

the engine stalls moving,
that usually means the ASD relay dropped out, did the IMMO light come on? you need to look at what all lights did in the cluster at stall.
a stall causes rapid deceleration and loss of all engine power
and RPM drops and MPH drops and at the point of stall
all Cluster lamps go ON. they go to key on self test mode as
stated in the users manual. (lost sure)
to witness this, key on, no start, and bingo the self test happens.
those are NOT failures. its just a self test. Per manual.

Does the ABS stay off driving and not stalling or stalled.
yes, then ABS is ok......

did you take it to a shop (crooks) and tell them my ABS is on?
and they see it's out, and go, gee we can make some cash here for nothing. if you tell them wrong, they will in fact guess, and make you broke fast.
ABS can go on just with a bad brake caliper pad. a $10 part.
if car stops ok, and the lamp is out RUNNING !!!!
Then leave the ABS alone. why assume the most expensive part on car is bad, why do that...???? why not put on new pads. and rotors.
first. then test the ABS. ABS is not magic it cant help stop any car with bad manual brakes. not at all.
end brakes; now back to ENGINE.

then fix the stalls,
here is the stalls list, for only the ASD.
(even a tuneup, will end stalling)

THE ASD is the funky Jeep thing, that kills the engine for many a reason. (there are tests for each case failure)

if the CEL lamp comes on driving < NOT STALLED)
then connect any scan tool, to the DLC connector at knees.
and scan the PCM for DTC errors.
then post those.
keep in mind, errors can AUTO clear, so not seeing them
in REAL TIME< means you missed the boat.
that is, you didnt get the facts of the failure.
but errors still in effect are stored and you can in fact
scan them parked, key on.
the CEL is only a SMOG light, you must scan to see the other 100+ errors. possible.

Better:
find a real ASE shop, and ask them to fix the stalls, (car stops good)
then they will fix that
and by magic the stalls are gone and the dash lamps go happy.

My rpms jump up and down when im driving, it would also turn my abs light on and the brake warning light when it did it. i also felt the car bucking when the rpms would jump. i was turning into a parking...

Sound like she's idling too low. You're going to have to adjust that. You might want to check the spark plugs and plug wires...sometimes the plug wires can slip off and it feels like you went down a few cylinders. If it feels like it's going to cut out on you put her in neutral, that will take the strain off of the motor and what not.You should go to Auto Zone and get them to hook up to the car's computer to see what's wrong.Auto ZONE does it for free.Or if you have a mechanic friend that have a diagnostic meter, he/she will hook it up to car's computer also and it will tell you what codes are coming up and the mechanic can tell you what they mean and how to correct them.GOOD LUCK!

My abs light stays on after a few mins of driving and stays on

I would scan it for body codes-eg. ABS codes. Just Brakes wouldn't be my choice for any repairs. Find a good ASE Certified local shop. Discribe the slipping, stalling and shuttering. Sounds more like a trans issue.

2003 Mountaineeer wont shift into Park

There is a shift interlock mechanism that only alows the key to come out in park. It is the same mechanism that will not let you put it into gear unless you put your foot on the brake. You cannot safely bypass it.

99 Saturn SL 1 stall on startup

I'm not sure what I did, but after I had cleaned out the throttle body (I'm sure thats not what did it, since it was pretty clean to begin with) and took it for a drive it was jerking alot and the check engine light had come on, I took another look and seen I had not plugged back in a sensor thing (I assume thats what it was LOL) which after plugging back in fixed the check engine light and the jerking. As for the stall out on start up thats gone and replaced with a new problem. When I start the car now it roars to life and the rpm thingy jumps up to 3000 and slowly works its way back down to 1500 which is higher than it ran before I fiddled with the throttle body. I'm assuming I bumped something while putting it back together. also when i put it in park or slow down alot it jumps way up as well. So no more startup problems now I have a gas guzzling problem LOL. Is this going to hurt my car any or am I simply burning up more gas than needed and nothing more?
