Was the dodge caravan 2002 equipped with daytime running lights?

Your van has dual diligent headlamp bulbs, that means each headlight has one bulb that serves as high beam and low beam. What has most likely happened is on one side the low beam filament has burnt out, and on the other side the high beam filiment has burnt out. i would say yor problem is most likely corrosion of the connectors in the engine compartment to the light assemblies. this would affect everything you have mentioned

there is a module is plugged in to the front of the fuse box under the hood. u need to remove it by taking out the four torx screws. Then clean the prongs with needle nose

It is not a relay, it is a daytime running light module and it is located under the hood on the firewall on passenger side.

There are three flat head srews on the head lamp housing under the hood you have to remove all three then the lense housing is easily removed and the actual lamp is twist locked losen twist lock lefty lose tighty right
and the head lite is a plug in type remove old one istal new one and presto follow the rest in reverse.
