Most of the problems you are discribing point to a blown fusible link.they are found about six to twelve inches from the positive terminal on the battery and can be checked by pulling on the caseing of the wire.bad links will be strechy,good ones will feel like normal wire.

Testimonial: "i will try the fusable links, i got a diagram now, but this morning everything started working again ? this makes it harder to find"

1998 dodge grand caravan fuse panel diagram

There is also a labeled HORN relay in the fuse box next to the battery... the fuse box is long and rectangular. The inside of the lid has the diagram for both the fuses and relays it contains. The other is a fuse panel under the dashboard on the driver's side. It cover lights and a few other items. The fuses are labeled, but the relays are NOT. One of the relays, controls the emergency hazard flashers. You need to check both places and replace any fuse that states HORN and the HORN relay, to be sure the problem goes away.

omi n opa, I have never heard of a fusible link that controls everything but in the engine compartment there is a fuse box usually called a power distribution box. Look for a 100 amp fuse that is connected by a large wire on each side. Check the fuse as this will cause all power to be lost in the vehicle. Replace fuse if blown, if not then please, with my apologies, resubmit your question. Good luck with this.

AC & Rear wiper switch button indicator lights blink

The procedure for re-setting the HVAC control panel on a 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan follows:
With ignition on but not running
1. turn knob to air vents
2. turn fan knob to ON
3. temperature setting on COLD (2X) {I have dual temp controls}
4. hold top(rear wiper) and bottom (rear wiper with wash) buttons pressing down together until all the buttons cycle through (this will require 1 to 2 minutes of continuous pressing)
I learned this from a very helpful local Dodge service adviser

Recently I lost my wipers, horn and head light control. All fuses and relays are good. The head lights come on with ignition and go off when ignition is off, but no brights or control otherwise. Turn

Much easier to replace the switch assembly. If it is something minor repair it but do not open the switch assembly packaging so that you can return it.

Fuse box,, relays ?

Disconnect the battery for a minute or two and reconnect it. Sometimes the BCM (body control module) locks up.
