Look in the owners manual or the booklets. The dealer will put the code inside with the papers some times. Other way is goto the dealer and they will. Charge you to do it and get them to give you the code for when it happens again
SOURCE: Hi, I replaced my honda
In the newer Honda's there is a lock code on the radios when they lose power the code kicks in to prevent theft the reset code should be in your owners manual if it isn't call your locale Honda dealer.

We had the same problem. As advised from another website, we unhooked the battery and hooked the cables together for about 10 minutes. This reset the radio and allowed us to put in the 5-digit code. Now we're jammin'!

We had the same problem.
I took out the bolts outside, then crawled into the back area of the car, and took a screw driver, and slid it along the inner hatch catch, and found the safety latch and released the hatch. Then I took the inside off, and disconnected the handle device from the inside. It was rusted, and broken. I went to Kia, and bought a new one and reinstalled, after greasing the new one up. Took me a while, but they wanted 280.00 in labor, so it was well worth it.
Just be patient and go slow. A good metric socket set will be the best thing, with a regular and phillips screw driver.
Good luck

on most hondas you have to pull the radio and get the code of the back then call the dealer, however I am pretty sure on that car you just write down the vin number and call the dealer I emphasize on call so they dont charge you

i had the same vehicle and my code was 8040. What really bothered me was this car was sooooo cheap, the stereo was cheap, the whole integrity of the car is cheap, however they have an anti theft on the stereo. ha ha lol! Don't spend any money trying to figure it out, either pick up a new stereo or give the car away!
