drain RAD fully or half way , pull hose there. at X
and unbolt the housing to find thermostat.
a new gasket is a must.
Different sensors are tested differently. Search for haynes book on Fuel Injection diagnostics. It shows how to test each sensor. You can also search for online guides to test each particular sensor.
could be a bad ground on the light socket or try to buy 1 bulb to see if it works because there is actullay 2 lights in each bulb one for brakes and one for tail light
