SOURCE: Removal of Radio in 2004 Hyundai Sonata
Remove the facia plate, and remove the 4 screws that hold the radio in place. It's actually one of the simplest cars you can do.
SOURCE: XM Radio in 2008 Hyundai Sonata sounds bad
Same problem here. I repeatedly complained to XM but got no reply. I listen to XM in 2009 Sonata and it was just as bad.
XM is better than AM. Much worse than FM.
SOURCE: Radio Reset for 2006 Hyundai Sonata
doubtful probably burnt up a component in radio thats why when jumping a vehicle u turn off all accessories so when something gets crossed it doesnt short it out usually will blow a couple of fuses
SOURCE: Radio cut off, then noticed
you need to check your battery posts and make sure they are clean and tight you shouldent be able to spin them by hand on the posts. if you are getting a week connection all kinds of things strange will happen. then have your battery tested because if all this is happening its drained or very low.. all in all you probably need a new bettery.. i dont think a fuse because when one burns out its just gone. its rare one will continue to work intermittently.. the clicking sound you hear when trying to start is a tell tell sign of a low battery.. i hope this helps you..
Testimonial: "Green, you were right after all! Testing the battery superficially showed the battery was fine too, but it turned out it had a bad cell tho 1 yr old."
