A/c has short Did not fix F150 2008 4dr 4x4. Yesterday radio having problem. Start engine radio lights come on and clock light. Can change stations but no audio . engine off radio audio comes on

There is a dimmer module that dims all dash lights when the headlights are on.

The quickest way to find a short circuit is by putting a bulb in place of the fuse. Anytime the time the bulb lights there is a load. And if the load is a shorted wire the brightness of the bulb will give you a hint. So while you're at it, finding a 'short' is a quicky...keep your eyes on the bulb. gotcha!

change the 2 solenoids on the firewall on the passenger side. they contol the vacum to the acuator.

SOURCE: no radio display

u must pull the radio out and remove the top cover of the radio, under that u will find a tiny bulb socket just behind the display inside the radio, remove that twist in bulb socket and replace the miniature bulb, any parts store will have it.
