Hi Danial, Overheating is usually something to do with the cooling system, but can be caused by a few other problems. I would check the usual problems first, such as the thermostat the radiator pressure cap, water pump and the cooling fan operation. Also check for any sins of leakage. It is a good idea to have the cooling system pressure tested at a workshop, just in case the leakage is only evident when the system has reached operating temperature. Unless the engine has been seized it would be very doubtful that a con rod has been bent, which is the rod I believe you're referring to? Regards John
