2001 GMC Sonoma has 176K miles...engine runs well...frame and body in excellent condition...truck shudders slightly when accelerating especially from dead stop...stops when acceleration finishes and vehicle is traveling at steady speed...is transmission failing? what is likely fix?
Is this an extended cab ,4wd,automatic or manual transmission ,,studdering can be anything from needing a tune up --tires balanced -motor mount-suspension- c/v axle --u-joints torque converter-rear -transmission clutch-4wd components etc
Testimonial: "It is a two-wheel drive, automatic transmission, extended cab...tires are all new within the past four years...front end recently worked over...tune up done at 150K..."
