Keiser m3 resistance shiftet will not hold properly in 11,12,13 and 14 gears.

Check the fluid level. If it is good get the transmission filter and fluid changed.

It should be in the trunk, passenger's side right quarter panel under a black plastic tray that holds the lug nut wrench.

There is an unlock button that is pushed by the brake pedal when you push it, if you look under the dash and push the brake with your hand, you will see the little black buttton that it pushes, you need to replace that switch.... because it really sounds like your gearshift isnt unlocking... hope this helps

You might have a bent fork in the tranny. I used to race a lot and had the same problem after trying to shift quickly repeatedly. After a while, it just wont grab the gear.

check out your tranny, it shouldnt be too bad of a problem.

alot of times what happens when you turn the key the pin that locks the steering wheel and also allows the shiftet arm to move doesn't always dis-ingage. if you can do this yourself dis-assembly of the steering column is not difficult, however if you have a driverside airbag be etremely careful you can set it off with a static charge. if you feel uncomfortable doing this take it to a small independant shop where labor cost is minimal. dealships are quite pricey these days.

it may be your whole cluch if you have been racing or something or even just wear and tear on the car
