Yes, theres a kit that replaces the air bags with shocks and springs and then they give you a small module that connects in the trunk to the air suspension diagnostic connector to turn off the air ride light and keep compressor from running, i,ve found that the price ends up costing the same or more to replace than repair. i have done a ton of these and the problem is the bags leak and sometimes cause the airpump to go bad, theres a web site i use that sells these parts cheap and they work great, start by replacing the bags and then the compressor if needed, the selinoids on the bags are reuseable, now if this car has the front and rear air ride then it is cheaper to convert and i think this car does if its got the v6 engine then it is front and rear air suspension, they sell a kit for 499.00 dollars and comes with struts and springs complete to convert i think just one air strut is 200.00 so it is cheaper to convert .i hope this helps, the web site is get google Airnott industries and then go to the coorect year and make for your car,

ALSO RESET THE AIR SPRING COMPUTER.IF YOU NEED TO RELEASE AIR FROM AIR SPRINGS TURN OFF AIR SUSPENSION SWITCH.THEN REMOVE AIR SPRING SOLENOID RETAINING CLIP,ROTATE THE SOLENOID COUNTERCLOCKWISE TO FIRST STOP, THEN PULL SOLENOID STRAIGHT OUT SLOWLY TO THE SECOND STOP UNTIL ALL AIR BLEEDS OUT AIR SPRING, THEN REMOVE THE SOLENOID. YOU COULD HAVE DAMAGED FRONT AIR SPRINGS WHEN YOU CHANGED OIL WITH OUT TURNING OFF AIR SUSPENSION.WHICH CAUSED AIR SPRINGS OVER EXPAND DAMAGING THEM.

You have a bad injecotr on that cylinder or it has varnish on it. Go to an auto store and get a 20 oz bottle of Chevron Techron and add it to 1/4 tank or less of gas and see if it cleans it up. You can try this a couple of times. If still too lean, either change that injector or send it out for cleaning and testing.

Usually not. As long as you can reach all the bolts that connect the transmission to the motor, then, no. There are usually two near the top of the bellhousing, near the floor and firewall, that are hard to reach (and hard to swing a wrench on), but (at least on the cars I have worked on) they are easier to get out than to pull the engine.

Now, if you are pulling the motor, on many cars it is easier to also pull the transmission with the motor, than to try to separate them and also support the transmission once the engine is unbolted. But the transmission is usually easier to pull by itself.

I would have to double check the power schematic but it sounds to me like a sprag clutch might have failed. If it has no burned fluid then it could also be a blown seal for one of the clutch packs. Either way the transmission has to come out for repairs.

Your on the right track. Your transmission is going to have to be either rebuilt or replaced, sometimes buying new isn't much different from having one rebuilt. Then theres the other option with a salvage yard, but for I transmission, I wouldn't suggest it personally. Hope this helps and sorry to hear about your misfortune.

It sounds like the "Rack and Pinion steering" could be bad. But the other sounds can easily be balljoints or tierods.

In any case the best thing to do is get an estimate for repair from an alignment shop. Then you can call around if you wish and see how fair the price is.

The longer you wait, the more stuff will be damaged and if certain parts are bad, it is dangerous to drive.

i recommend sparkplug and wires. cap and rotor. oil and oil filter. new fuel filter. inspect all rubber hoses for cracks or bad spots. inspect serpentine belt.replace if has cracks.

The braking is a vacuum assisted function and your booster has probably failed. This is not an expensive part but choose your shop carefully otherwise they may soak you for things you don't need. I use BBB to check on reputations.
