Change cam and crank Sensors, thotler body, fuel pump in tank . still no start
Try spraying starter fluid into the intake manifold through the throttle body (3-4 seconds of spray), then try start it. If it starts, runs then stops, your fuel is not getting to the engine. Remove the fuel line at the engine, put it into a container, crank and observe the fuel flow, no fuel or very little bad pump, regulator, or blocked filter. Good flow and volume, not enough air, no spark, or injector problems.
Check all fuses first, then with an assistant, check for spark with a spark tester. if there is spark at 2 plugs, check for fuel pressure at the fuel rail with a gauge. Engines need three things to run, fuel, spark, and compression. If there is spark and fuel, do a compression test, if the timing belt jumped/broke, you won't have any

How did the original poster solve the problem in the end? I suspect that my mitsubishi triton's engine is also broken.
