Trailblazer ac fan only blows at feet or defrost, not console

It's the vent actuator, it moves the baffle that changes the direction of the air flow.
Here is a video of a broken vacuum hose that creates the same problem.

It could also be a failed actuator.

there will be a air flow setting knob that controls whether air is defrost or on feet or from the console vents.

the heater vacuum motor and lines needs to be checked.Also get the blend door checked.

NO HEAT ON FLOOR VENTS

It's most likely a vacuum line, look under your hood (close to the cowl panel) for a disconnected, cracked or broken vacuum line.

In some rear cases, it could be the vacuum switch (in dash). Or vacuum diaphragm (under dash).

You need to perform a hard computer reset. which you basically did when you removed the batter, but this time, disconnect the battery and let it run down, move the a/c switches into the off position, then reconnect the battery after about 10 minutes. turn the key to the on position but do not start the engine. leave it like this for two minutes, you will hear the a/c cycling. after the two minutes are up, start the vehicle and let it run a while, (30 seconds) then turn on the a/c to the cold temp and low fan speed setting, it should cycle and come out the vents. if not you have the common fault code that will have to be reworked by gm. but most times this is the easy cheap and free fix.

PROBLEM COULD BE BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR OR FAULTY AC CONTROL MODULE.

check the vents under the dash, make sure the a/c vent doors are not jammed, check the blower fan underneath the dash too make sure its still operational, check the fuse for the blower motor, then last check your freon level.

There is a flap that directs the air. the flap is controlled by a vacuum actuator. This is located inside the venting. The actuator is connected to little vacuum hoses that attach to the temperature control switch. Either the flap is stuck, or the actuator has gone bad.
