Hi. Injector circuit open, it's mean, The injector is disconnected.
check the connector for that injector, loose or broken click.

Located on the fuel rail ( silver or chrome lines holding fuel injectors) you will find a cap at one end that looks like a valve stem cover. When you remove the cover you will find a connector which resembles a tire valve stem. You will connect the fuel pressure tester to this port, and you will need a second person to help. Once connected you will want the helper to turn the key to the on position while watching the gauge. You should see a small pressure rise when the key is cycled from off to on several times. Then with the tester still attached have you helper start the car. You should see a increased pressure around 40PSI. You should check with ford for the proper fuel rail pressure. The gauge should only move about 5 pounds or so while idling.
If you do not have fuel pressure I would first suggest checking the fuel pump relay and it contacts to make sure the relay is working properly. If the relay is working and you still have little pressure the I would change the fuel filter. After that if you still have low pressure I would suggest replacing the pump.

No other warning chimes work or just the headlamps ?
Warning Devices The warning device system consists of the following components:
  • Smart junction box (SJB)
  • Instrument cluster
  • Restraint control module (RCM)
  • Inspection and Verification
    1. Verify the customer concern.
    1. Visually inspect the following for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.

      Visual Inspection Chart Mechanical Electrical
      • Switch(es)
      • Instrument cluster
      • Smart junction box (SJB)
      • Battery junction box (BJB) fuse(s):
        • 1 (60A)
        • 3 (60A)
      • SJB fuse(s):
        • 22 (15A)
        • 32 (10A)
        • 33 (15A)
      • Circuitry
    1. If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
    1. If the concern remains after the inspection, connect the diagnostic tool to the data link connector (DLC) located beneath the instrument panel and select the vehicle to be tested from the diagnostic tool menu. If the diagnostic tool does not communicate with the vehicle:
      • check that the program card is correctly installed.
      • check the connections to the vehicle.
      • check the ignition switch position.
    1. If the diagnostic tool still does not communicate with the vehicle, refer to the diagnostic tool operarting manual.
    1. Carry out the diagnostic tool data link test. If the diagnostic tool responds with:
      • CAN or ISO circuit fault; all electronic control units no response/not equipped, refer to Section 418-00 .
      • No response/not equipped for the instrument cluster, refer to Section 413-01 . For smart junction box (SJB), refer to Section 419-10 .
      • System passed, retrieve and record the continuous diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), erase the continuous DTCs, and carry out self test diagnostics for the instrument cluster and for the SJB.
    1. If the DTCs retrieved are related to the concern, go to the Instrument Cluster Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Index or the Smart Junction Box (SJB) Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Index to continue diagnostics.
    1. If no DTCs related to the concern are retrieved, proceed to the Symptom Chart.

I looked at info for your security system, it is starter motor disable. I didn't see 06 ford Taurus in my database, so I looked at 05.
Battery has a full charge and battery connections all good?
We can usually do some tests to see if starter motor will crank the engine, but, if the security is the problem, it still won't start.
You can check for applicable trouble codes? Try a different key?

The Check engine light come's on to alert the driver that a problem exist . DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes are stored when the light comes on . To find the problem one should take there vehicle to a qualified repair shop . A longer then normal crank time could be caused by a number of different thing's . Testing electrical circuits , fuel pump pressure an flow testing an viewing scan data is the proper way to diagnose these type problem's .

P0463 - Fuel Level Sensor A Circuit High Description: The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the fuel level input (FLI) circuit for electrical failure. The test fails when the signal moves above the maximum allowable calibrated parameter for a specified fuel fill percentage in the fuel tank. Possible Causes:
  • Fuel pump (FP) module concern
  • Incorrectly installed fuel gauge
  • Damaged instrument cluster
  • FLI shorted to VPWR
  • CASE GND circuit open
  • Overfilled fuel tank
  • Damaged fuel gauge
Diagnostic Aids: See the diagnostic aids for DTC P0460. Application Key On Engine Off Key On Engine Running Continuous Memory Ranger GO to Pinpoint Test HX . All others Refer to the Workshop Manual Section 413-01, Instrument Cluster for fuel level indicator diagnosis.

you need to replace your instrument cluster

Is the air bag light lit on the instrument cluster ? The horn relay isn't under the hood in the engine compartment , it's in the SJB - smart junction box located inside the passager compartment . Under the dash panel left side . You can take the relay back to autozone because it's not the right one ! The relay is inside the smart junction box ,soldered to the printed circuit board !
Horn Horn
The vehicle is equipped with dual horns. The horns are mounted in the LF frame rail corner behind the front bumper.
The horn system consists of the following components:
  • steering wheel horn switches
  • clockspring
  • horns
  • smart junction box (SJB)
Horn Switch, Steering Wheel Mounted
The horn switches are incorporated within the driver side air bag module in the steering wheel. The switches are grounded and control the horns through the clockspring. For removal and installation of the driver side air bag module, refer to Section 501-20B .

( now they say they can't figure out whats wrong with it unless it happens while they are driving it to know exactly whats wrong !
Even with it actting up it could be a pain to find . All the electronic's an wiring an connections , ground circuit's an B+ circuits .Plus C.A.N. Serial data network , do you know what this C.A.N. is ? controller area network , all the modules on the vehicle share info on it . The instrument cluster gauges info come's from the PCM - engine computer over this network . Here read this
How to Diagnose Controller Area Network CAN Your problem could be cause by lose ground connection ,a lose network connection . Something that mite require the dash (instrument panel ) to be pulled out of the vehicle . So don't be to ******* the dealer , they just want to be sure , because if they need to pull the dash out that can be expensive ! Close to $1,000 bucks .
