Dome light,dash light,gear shift light,heaterlight not working

my 2007 Saturn outlook wont shift in any gear
first when it happened it worked after 30 minutes of engine
turned off now it wont shift at all
when I start the engine there is no noise from the transmission the stick shift handle shifts in all gears but nothing happens

Look for radio fuse and window fuse.

First check the fuses

i would have the battery and alternator tested first. Voltage issues can cause some strange behavior.

This may sound crazy to you. Check the fuse that controls the speedometer, cruise control and interior dome light. My 93 f150 battery was going dead every night. One morning I noticed the dome light inside was still on. I couldn't get it to go off so I pulled the fuse that is under the dash on the driver side. Light went out and so did speedometer. When I drove it later that day it wouldn't shift from low until I let off the gas. Then it would shift around between gears for no apparent reason. It took me a day of two to put 2 and 2 together. When I put the fuse back in, the speedometer started working and it started shifting normally. I finally took the bulb out of the dome light and now all is well.On the 93 f150 the speedometer is electronically linked to the transmission shifting points. You may have other fuses that are linked to your transmission.

make sure you didnt unplug any plugs and if that dont work check the fuses keep me posted

wire from feed come adrift ..where ??? havent a clue but most likely on back of fuse board

it must have reset body control module. as for lights in dash bulbs could be blown or loose only way to tell is to remove cluster assembly.

i just had the same problem with my f 150 ( 1999), my wipers, washer fluid pump, dome light, door chime stopped, I went thur the manuals, Checked appropated fuses, even changed wiper motor, (nothing worked) out of much internet checking, talking to mechanics, I got frustrated, I started pulling all the fuses under the dash,, I pulled # 15 ,a 5 amp fuse, which has nothing to do with the wipers eletronics, it was a good fuse, when i put it back in, everything came back and working fine. nearest i can figure it was either loose or a dirty contact.

#15 fuse (5 amps) on my box is for : stop lamp switch,( speed control,brake shift interlock,ABS, pcm module inputs.gem module,RABS test connector)
