Car Battery Jump started my husbands acura yesterday he shut it off wouldnt start so we tried to jump start it again and lights would come on but car wouldnt start bought a new battery drove around all day and went to the store and car wouldnt start again what could the problem be

Alternator is bad. It is not charging the battery as you drive.

Sounds like you have a loose connection on a battery cable. loosen the bolt and pull off each end and clean, then replace. When you clean them, make sure you get down to clean metal.

Check the battery +12v power connection to the starter is in good order,
Check the ground connection between the battery negative and the engine/starter motor is robust and intact.
If no problem with above, replace the starter motor.

Definitely sounds like it's time to replace the starter. To verify make sure your getting 12v on the small gauge wire at the starter while trying to crank. If you have power at that wire while cranking replace the starter.
