I have a 2005 Cadillac SRX. The navigation system worked just fine the other day. Then I turned my car on today and the navigation system said insert map dvd. But, the map dvd is already in. I have tried inserting it about 50,000 times, but it still said insert map dvd. How do I fix this?

On my '06 Navigator the navigation dvd goes in a slot on the console to the left of the passenger's feet. There's a removable panel.
On a side note... does anyone have a newer dvd for Canada? The one that came with my vehicle is compile for the Quebec (*gasp*) market and is outdated.

Directly under the engine. You'll see a large smooth portion under there that looks like the underside of a bath tub and on the lowest portion of that is a bolt. Thats your oil reservoir where you drain your oil. The filter should be located near that pointing toward the front of the vehicle. GM OEM filters are usually black but could be white and are almost always 3" filters so a filter wrench that fits a 3" filter will get it off without problem.

The firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6. Cylinders are located on the driver's side front to rear of engine 1-3-5 passenger side front to rear 2-4-6.
