Look at the back side of the fuse box lid and find the location of the fuse labeled THEFT . Pull that fuse out, inspect it to make sure it isnt blown. Now insert the fuse and remove it three times and after You removed it the third time, insert it and leave it in. This will reset the ECM and the theft system.

You can't , if it were as easy as that why have it . You need to call a mobile lock-smith to cut you a new key and program it to the vehicle. Or have it towed to a cadillac dealer,as simple as that.

Have you checked the battery and starter?

Likely a rotating part hitting a resonant frequency. It might be a universal joint on the drive shaft, a wheel out of balance or tire out of round. You might try lightly touching the brakes while maintaining the same speed. If it's something to do with tires or wheels, that would likely stop it. My first car would oscillate violently after hitting a bump in the road, due to a loose suspension part.

Check with auto parts stores for an aftermarket latch. Dorman Industries may supply one. If not, try for a salvage yard part.

Could be leaking from valve cover , or valves are not seated right. Though the piston rings . Or the seals on the valves are bad ( think there called o rings)

If it locks when using the manual switch inside the car, the problem is probably your remote. If not, your lock solenoid in the lift gate may need to be replaced.

Since you didn't say what vehicle here is my general thought. Thus sounds like a failing lock cylinder not releasing the key. You can try squirting some graphite into it ( or spray lube..although graphite is better especially long term)

Rear Seat Switches There are three push button switches that are used to operate the power folding seat; front stow switch, rear stow switch, and recline switch. The front stow switch is located in the right rear quarter trim panel just behind the second row seat. The rear stow and recline switches are located in the right rear trim panel just inside the liftgate. Battery positive voltage is supplied at all times to all three switches from the FFS SW Fuse located in the left rear fuse block. The folding seat will operate only in a supervised mode, i.e. press and hold the selected switch button through the entire cycle of operation, or release the switch when the desired seat position is reached. When any folding seat switch is pressed, it sends a 12 volt signal through the switch signal circuit to the RSM. The RSM then commands the appropriate seat motors to move in response to the switch signal. Rear Seat Module and Power and Ground The rear seat module controls the position of the third row seat. When commanded it moves the seat from the seated position to the stowed position, or, from the stowed position to the seated position. With the seat in the seated position, the RSM can also move the angle of the seat back forward or rearward. Battery positive voltage is supplied at all times to the module through the battery positive voltage circuit and the FFSM fuse located in the left rear fuse block. This voltage is used to power up the RSM and also to apply power to the seat motors when commanded. The RSM is grounded through the module ground circuit and G401. The first place to start would be check the fuse's .Do you know where the left rear fuse block is located ? Fuse Block - Left Rear In the passenger compartment, near the left side of the rear seat under the carpet If the fuse is good next thing to do would be ,have check for DTC'S in the rear seat module ! This has nothing to do with check engine light or OBD 2 diagnostic trouble codes an a code reader for said OBD2 codes will not work . Would need a factory scan tool to check these codes. The RSM monitors these battery positive voltage supply circuits for the protection of internal circuitry of the module. DTC B1395 Device Voltage Reference Output 1 Circuit DTC B1420 Device Voltage Battery positive voltage is supplied at all times to the seat adjuster switch and the memory seat module (MSM) through the same circuit. My 2005 came up with this also, it continually became more frequent. Had to replace the throttle body.
