After having the transmission replaced, we got the vehicle back asking for the radio code which we dont have. Can I program my own code in?
When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your Mazda service centre and get them to enter this code for you.

Get a second opinion from a shop that will test your alrenator for you. Most localservice stations can handle that.

The fuse for memory backup is blown.if its a factory radio.the fuse will be marked and easy to find.If its not factory it should be under the dash.And hopfully marked.
