The defroster is the default for safety when the blend door does not work properly. I am not familiar with this car but it maybe vacuum controlled you could check for a hose off under the dash.

Yes you need to remove the roof motor module and then move the sun roof to closed and then reinstall the module.

I hope this helps. If you have a misfire, cylinders 1, 2, and 3 are on the back of the engine and 4, 5, 6 are on the front of the engine. Replacing the coil usually fixes the problem. Sometimes it does not and usually then you will find a bad terminal at the PCM connector, but its pretty rare.

Do you have normal comression, fuel pressure, and spark ?

there will be a button or lever in the dash next to the ac controls that will have a symbol like an arrow going back over itself
if that doesn't work then the problem will be to find what has happened
some sometimes it is a simple cable , other times a vacuum operate actuator so that will mean looking up under the dash to find and fix
