SOURCE: How many horns does a 2008 Mariner have and where are they?

tried to find the wiring diagram..... it only tells me components on the one i found and it states horns... plural.... look between the radiator and front grill... the horns should be located there. i would suggest that to activate both you might have to hit both switches on the steering wheel at the same time.

SOURCE: how to replace the defrost motor in my 2008

Thanks for using FixYa.com!
DON'T REPLACE THE MOTOR!!
The Motor is fine, the Blower Motor RESISTOR, not the Motor itself, is defective and must be replaced.
When the Blower Motor Resistor fails the Blower Motor will only work on High.

2003 Mercury Mountaineer. What fuse can I use as switched fuse for after market amplifier please?

There isn't a switched fuse. You need to run a dedicated circuit to the amp for power and use either the amp wire or power antenna wire from the head unit to the amp for remote on.

The radio and the cd turns on but no sound comes out after having the battery replaced. The vehicle is a 05 Mercury Mariner

radio runs off two power wires, one full time power and one switched power check to see which is working. turn the key to acc. and see if power stays on with car off, check all fuses. open the hood and look at battery cables, look to see if everything was hooked up right and if there is a amplifer in your car could be a fuse on the line to the amp either next to the battery or next to the amplifer.

I want to hook up an amp and speakers to my 2008

The remote wire is an accessory power source, like the ACC line from your radio. (usually the red one). Can also be hooked into anything that has 12v when the ignition is on, like a powered antenna.

2008 mariner power points not working

Check with Autozone or similar for fusible links and relays. There are boxes of relays under the hood. Auto parts should show it and if not go to dealer and ask parts guys for diagram. They usually will help you at Ford or Mercury.

Where does the remote wire from an amplifier hook up to.

you connect it at the fuse box at the kick panel on the driver side beneath the steering wheel there you will find the fuse box the diagram is on the back of the fuse cover you can connect it there or if you have a wiere harness for an after market stereo than it should be there it's usually a blue wire
