A spark came from interior fuse/relay panel. After that nothing seem to be working on the interior fuse/relay panel. I check all of the fuses, and all seem to be in working order.. What else could be I add a rear back up light to my vehicle using the power source from the interior relay/fuse panel as my main power source.. Everything was working fine until I turn the power on in the vehicle. I heard a spark come from that area. So I turned the vehicle off. When checking to see of everything was okay inside the vehicle. I noticed that noting was working inside of the vehicle. Such as the interior light,radio,heater,etc. what can I do to fix it..

There is a diode in the rectifier bridge that is failing intermittanly in the alternator, rebuilt the alt or replace it and the issue will be solved.

If it's where most silverado's have it, open driver door, on the side of the dash, there is a panel door, behind it are the fuses, there is another fuse block under the hood, a black box.

apparently there is a 125 amp fuse between the + and - on the battery/ fuse area (engine side). Get this changed, and everything should come back.

There is a diverter valve in the coolant lines. This is used to block the coolant from flowing to the heater core in the summer time. There are 3 types of diverter valves. Vaccum, Eletric and combination. Vaccum is the easiest to check. Usually has a plunger on the diverter and can be manually opened. Use caution when working with hot hoses. Hope this helps.
